Taheke 8C Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of The Proprietors of Taheke 8C & Adjoining Blocks Incorporation. We were established to lead the investigation, development, and delivery of renewable energy projects on Taheke 8C land.

Progress projects that reflect the aspirations of our landowners
Uphold kaitiakanga (guardianship) of the whenua
Contribute to a sustainable energy future for Aotearoa
Our current focus includes:
The Taheke Geothermal Project that consented in 2024
The Taheke Hydroelectric Scheme, now in development
The Taheke Bio-mass Scheme is currently being advanced in collaboration with energy partners.
